I slid my Porsche "garage queen" off the road in the rain at the beginning of the year. Sliding the car sideways created some alignment issues. I researched and found Fred's establishment via reputation. Fred is clearly competent, has the right leading-edge tools (laser guided equipment), and extensive experience. It is rocket science to get these cars aligned correctly. Even Porsche dealerships many-times don't have the right skill set to do this. Fred did a great job. Thank you. I'll be back.

The car has 107,000 miles on it and operates better than when I bought it. Bought this car with 11,000 miles on the odometer, at a Benz dealer that had this car in service for a loaner car. After picking up the car yesterday it has never shifted like it does now! Believe this car always had a transmission issue. Makes one wonder that while the car was under warrant the dealer never owned up to the "codes" that should have been apparent. Very happy with Fred's service, both to the car and myself. Trustworthy should sum up this review. Jim

No pressure just told me what they found and what was important and what was not. I felt he was very honest and reliable and I will be back again in the future.

Compared to the Bay Area dealerships, this dude is a huge time saver. Those guys eat up you time with automation, slick service managers, posh waiting areas and car washes. Fred quickly gets to the problem and gets you on your way at half the cost of the dealerships. When a dealer can't find the problem and wastes half your day, bring it to Fred. When the dealer quotes you $3K for a repair, bring the quote to Fred. I haven't compared Fred to any other independent repair place, but I do get a sense of knowledge, experience and pride from his work. I've also noticed that he treats his mechanics as human beings with families and responsibilities. That's what really impressed me.

I thought it was power steering or tranny fluid but Fred determined it was oil from the filter. They did an oil change and also changed my brake fluid as it had never been done in 80K miles. I got the car back and felt there was a little bit of sponginess in the brake petal. They took it back the next day and fixed it while I waited for no cost. Price for the total work was reasonable. I brought it in Tuesday at 7:30 am and had it back running perfect at 2:00 pm same day---no charge. Thanks Fred. Excellent work again.

A good friend recommended Fred's. So I gave them a try and found it to be a very good decision. It was a nasty job (timing chain on an Xterra) and Fred's gave me the best price in the area. The work was completely top-shelf. Fred kept me apprised on the status (long job) and was honest. I am glad I have a new mechanic I can trust. I don't even have to leave Morgan Hill.

It was a nasty job (timing chain on an Xterra) and Fred's gave me the best price in the area. The work was completely top-shelf. Fred kept me apprised on the status (long job) and was honest. I am glad I have a new mechanic I can trust. I don't even have to leave Morgan Hill. Fred is the best.

I measured the tire pressure in all 4 tires and it was 40 psi, the max pressure for these tires , as printed on them is 51 psi. When I filled all the tires to 50 psi, the low pressure sensor went out and has not recurred. I would suggest filling the tires to 50 psi next time , so I dont have to make another trip for service the day after we get new tires.
